Genesis Chapter 1 – THE THIRD DAY
11Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
I
have not been a gardener till the start of year 2020 when the pandemic hits I
started loving plants. I do not know about you but to me planting is an art, it
is a miracle to me how plants grow. When I plant something in the pot and inside
my house it is outside the natural habitat I had to make sure that the
lighting, the watering and the soil is right for the plant otherwise it will
not thrive and more likely die. It takes great deal of research and effort and
focus to make a plant thrive. Often than not we don’t realize that God only
just utter the words to make everything grow. In the Amazon Rainforest and
Biodiversity
Over
3 million species live in the rainforest, and over 2,500 tree species (or
one-third of all tropical trees that exist on earth) help to create and sustain
this vibrant ecosystem. The same as in
This
is only a small part of the world, there are many other places in the world to
discover how many species there is. I am making a point and yet I am also
having some goose bumps, writing about this. This is the God that we serve; He
created the vegetation in the entire world with his words alone. And guess what,
they sustain themselves and not need of any care on their environment because
God placed them there. I am astonished at the number and at the life in the
amazon forest.
I
never really dived in like this when it comes to the creation but I am happy I
did. It makes me realize that with his mere words are full of power and force.
These plants and the planet earth is a home to us because God made sure that
the sun is in exact distance from us that it can’t harm us but be a benefit to
us. That is my God!
